Dr. Leonardo Balsalobre and Dr. Raquel Stamm at the clinic

Stamm Balsalobre, Center for Otorhinolaryngology

The clinic brings together Dr. Raquel Stamm and Dr. Leonardo Balsalobre, two otorhinolaryngologists trained at UNIFESP who care for children and adults.

Every appointment takes the time needed to hear the patient's story, examine carefully and explain clearly what was found and what the options are.

The nose, ears and throat work together. Poorly controlled rhinitis disrupts sleep, enlarged adenoids change the way a child breathes, reflux can affect the voice.

That is why we look at the whole patient, not only at the symptom that brought them in.

When surgery is indicated, it is planned carefully, with imaging and endoscopy.

When medical treatment is the better path, it may include complementary approaches such as homeopathy, always based on a medical assessment.

The space

Every room was designed to make the visit calm. The waiting room is spacious and comfortable. The exam rooms have natural light and endoscopy equipment, so the nose, ears and throat can be examined during the appointment itself.

Kids' corner

Many of our patients are children. For them, the visit starts in the waiting room: the kids' corner has books, toys and small tables, which helps little ones arrive at the exam feeling at ease.

Location

We are in Vila Nova Conceição, a neighborhood next to Ibirapuera Park, at Rua Afonso Brás, 525, suite 13.
